My name is Karen Ellis
I’ve been teaching Pilates for 25 years and I’m still in love with it.
My journey to Pilates fitness came through my background as a professional ballet dancer and true lover of exercise. I know the deep desire to move with grace and efficiency, but I also know the pain and dysregulation that injuries can present to both the body and the spirit.
My specialty is creating programs that are unique to the individual regardless of age. My passion is to help you heal and create a pathway for elevated fitness. For some, this means starting with basic movement and strengthening slowly. For others it means layering deep and complex movements to balance other modalities such as dance or athletic endeavors.
I attract clients who are committed to self care, but more than that, who see the great value in respecting their ever evolving health. I honor your goals, both in fitness and health like they are my own. I understand how important exercise is to the entire body system and how creating a weekly habit of regular exercise can impact the trajectory of your life.
I enhance my personal health routines regularly and seek out my own mentors who help me create a balanced, thoughtful life.
My studio is outfitted with the best equipment the industry has to offer. They are the tools that will create the change we, client/student seek to make together.
